Today is World Water Day.

We are joining with WaterAid to raise money to repair wells in India. The goal is to raise at least $10,000 - because if we can do that, The Prem Rawat Foundation will match it. And then we'll have $20,000. Twenty thousand dollars to help WaterAid's Well Mechanic Program fix hundreds of broken wells, turning water back on for approximately 600 people each month. But we need your help.

The goal of my little page is to raise $250 of that amount. With The Prem Rawat Foundation's matching grant, that amount will double. Please consider donating to help others have clean water. Your donation is even tax-deductible.

Our Water Revolution.

Today's World Water Day. Our goal is to inspire 100 bloggers to turn their words to action, and inspire ten readers to donate $20 - enough to turn water back on for three people in India.

One third of all handpumps installed in the last twenty years in developing countries are now broken. And 4,000 children die every day because of lack of clean drinking water. We feel that’s unacceptable. So we’re thinking differently.

Instead of drilling more wells, we’re using our charitable gifts for something revolutionary – to train and employ handpump mechanics. The mechanics earn an income, bringing themselves out of poverty, and they save lives – turning water back on for thousands of people each year.
